I know this is probley not in the right section but knew alot of the fly fisherman look at this section so that is why I placed it here. I do alot of trout fishing on tanney. I dont live in the area but do have a lake house here. I recently got a helios 8wt and was wondering where around the branson/ kimberling city area where i could take my 17 ft boat with 40hp to get in on some white bass fishing with a fly rod this spring. I have never done it but heard it was alot of fun. So figured you guys could help me out on where i can put in and fish that was public. Also would like to hear what some of your favorite fly's so i know what i could be tying this winter to accomplish this. Thanks for all the help

Beaver Creek on bull shoals. The boat is big enuff but also small enuff to get back up in the creek far enuff to catch alot. I usually leave the boat and walk in and wade it out.

Beaver Creek is a good place. Upper Bull Shoals, Swan Creek, and the James River are great places too. Do a search on the Forum for white bass and you'll get alot of good info.
