Saturday 12-22 Report

I took my son to Bennett Springs yesterday to teach him how to fly fish. He caught 3 trout before I even brought one in! We started just below the dam and used a size 18 rusty midge below a tan scud and strike indicator. Then went up to zone 1 and caught a few more on a primrose and pearl midge, renegade and green crackleback. Not a lot of fishermen in the park on a beautiful day. The new fishing ramp just below the dam is now finished.
