Blanked Yesterday

Anyone catch any bass yesterday? I fished pomme from 9-3 without a bite. I'm not a newbe and was fishing where I generally catch them. I would like to hear if anyone else found it tough as nails.

We were on Stockton and managed 8 for a very long day (8 am to 5 pm). It was very tough. Caught them on jigs, or at least a stand-up bare jighead with a green pumpkin crawdad.

Today I had the same results. Started out at Indian Point and tried all my usual spots that I usually catch and not a single bite. I did see some fish jumping out of the water when it was raining, but not sure what they were chasing.

I fished out of Baxter from 9-5 on Saturday and drew the big goose egg. That was a long day and only walked away puzzled. The last few hours the clouds rolled in and the wind picked and thought I could pick up a few. That did not help. I would be interested to find out what the magic pattern was on Saturday.

Fished 4 hours Saturday with a doughnut and 3 hours yesterday morning....got one keeper brownie! I've never been so excited to catch a fish. It was tough out there for sure.

went out yesterday at indian point with a friend had 14 keepers by 9:30 lost alot more.

Donna and I fished Grand both days this weekend. Didn't catch big numbers either day but size was above average. Would rather not say what lure due to upcoming derbies over there but it had treble hooks.
