What are the limit restrictions for SWEPCO?

Also, for anyone coming over here be sure and watch the ramp it drops of about 10 to 12 feet into the water line.

You're not talking about keeping bass are you? If you are, I'm not teliing you.. :D

But if you insist, it's 10 bass a day, but only one over 18".

10 under 18 of any size? I'm only keeping them for photo ops hahahahaha! They will all be catch and release . I never keep fish unless it's crappie.

Everyone needs to be sure and watch out for that ramp it's no joke.

Yep 10, any size, which are the statewide rules (there are exceptions for lakes such as Beaver)

Thanks for the tip on the ramp, we were over there Thursday and did not fall off the edge, but it's certainly a good idea to check before launching.

Not to sound like a wiseguy, but there's a giant sign on the edge of the parking lot, facing the lot, that tells you what the limit is on Swepco.

My grandfather always used to say about my grandmother, that she'd "argue with a signpost". Yeah it is surprising that there is no length limit on bass in the general rules or at Swepco, but Swepco used to be strictly catch and release for bass, then it got overpopulated with bass, they were skinny and stunted, so they encouraged people to keep bass and thin them out.

I haven't put a pattern together yet if it makes me 1 happy!! Haha

Found some nice ones in the back of the cove and they didn't mind me in the boat but couldn't get anything to bite anything. They acted like they were on beds

Yep we noticed some on beds also and saw some hatched out fry so they seem to be wrapping up the spawn. It was tough for us, we got a dozen or so, nothing over 2 lbs. Weightless worms, and small worms on shakey heads/t-rigs were our best producers. It got really windy which made it tough to fish those finesse presentations.

I think if you check the law you will see it is 10 between 12 and 18 inches and one over 18 inches. I was fishing a tournament and it was put out one over 18 in and up to 10 of any size under and showed up at the weigh in with a 11in bass and was disqualified due to breaking the State law.

Check state law before bringing any fish to the ramp!!! If you take pics and release the fish into the water without putting it in your livewell you are safe, if you put it in your livewell you are considered keeping the fish.
