Lifes2Short Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 On the water about 8:30 out of State Park. Two of us fishing; one guy & one keeper, the other guy one keeper and maybe 3 shorts. Fished a hard 8 hours on main lake points and small cuts with jerkbaits and finess worms. BIG case of lock-jaw. Anybody else figure them out today? Tight Lines, Todd
Skeeter ZX190 Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 I got on the water at noon and fished until 5. Put in at Orleans Trail. Caught 7. 6 were keepers and one was just over 4 pounds. Caught them all on a 1/2 oz. green pumpkin jig with a Paca Chunk in green pumpkin red. Caught them on channel banks.
Lifes2Short Posted February 4, 2013 Author Posted February 4, 2013 Great job Skeeter, happy to hear you figured them out! Were you up by the State Park area in a red & white Skeeter?
Skeeter ZX190 Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Btlifes2short: Yes that was me in the red & white skeeter. I caught 5 of the 7 in one spot in Orleans Trail cove. The other 2 cameon a step banked point close to the mouth of Price Branch.
Lifes2Short Posted February 4, 2013 Author Posted February 4, 2013 I just sent you a message, didn't see the one you just sent.
