I was planning on giving the forsyth area a try in the morning. How is the upper end when its windy? I have a small v bottom that i fish Stockton with sometimes. Weather.com is focasting strong wind. thanks for the help.

Hmmm. That's tough to really answer because everyone might have a different idea. I can say that generally a wind from the SW will affect it the most, but given the fact that there aren't many straight stretches, white caps just don't seem to happen. The worst thing is that there is no courtesy dock so wind can make launching and taking out a pain at times if you're by yourself. From what I've heard about Stockton you might think the upper BS flat water.

thanks for the reply I have never been down there in my boat. my next question is. would it be better to put in at beaver or swan creek due to lake levels. and how is the jig bite for walleye right now? thanks again for the help.

I saw boat trailers at river run and Beaver Creek. If you plan to fish around the dam area then put in at River Run because if is probably 5-6 miles on down the river to Beaver Creek.
