Lifes2Short Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Maybe I should start off with lack of bass report. Put in @ Old State Park about 9:00 and had 2 keepers and a couple of shorts in the boat by 10:15, we thought this was going to be a kick-butt day. After those fish were caught we went 5 hours with out another bite. Ended up catching a total of 8 bass on jigs, finess works, and jerkbatis. Water temps stayed right around 40 all day, fishing was slow for us but great weather for February! We did listen to the tourney results at Old State Park and it took over 18lbs to win, 3rd place had 15lbs, and 7+ pounds was big fish. Somebody always figures them out. Todd
9LB Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Todd - the fish really stopped bitng for me on Sunday about noon. Was that you jigging right outside of Roark boat ramp Sunday in front of the bald eagle ?
Lifes2Short Posted February 18, 2013 Author Posted February 18, 2013 9LB, no we fished around the Old State Park area. It was really weird that the fish shut off for us too after 10:00. What were you fishing for?
9LB Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 I was throwing a megabass 110 trying to find some schooled up sowes, struck out jiggling for walleyes
