Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted November 10, 2006 Root Admin Posted November 10, 2006 I'm bidding on a Hach sensION 6 dissolved oxygen meter on ebay. I've always wanted one so that I could take readings at the dam when I'm fishing. I'd like to see what the different readings are for sections of the lake- at the outlets and away from the outlets. I used to test d.o. with a Hach kit which used chemicals- mixing and testing took 10 minutes. This meter will test in seconds. Should be of interest to everyone when I start testing the lake- even down in our area. I will be glad when Table Rock turns in a few weeks. Hopefully we'll get some cold, windy weather soon... that'll help!
Danoinark Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 Wow, when you win the auction and it arrives I have got to see that THING in action. Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted November 11, 2006 Author Root Admin Posted November 11, 2006 I didn't get it. Went for more than $250. Looking for another.

Terry Beeson Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 Phil, If you do get one, we could put together the data and chart it for different parts of the lake at different times of the year.... Good statistical analysis I've wanted to do for Norfork and BSD myself in the past... but Taney would by closer to home now, of course..
