Anyone Head Out Friday?

Wondering if anybody went out in the nice weather yesterday and if so, how it went.

I headed out first to check out the Bourbeuse for the first time, right by 44 (Uehlmeyer Access), and had no luck there, though I didn't get to stay long. Afterwards I ended up checking out Catawissa CA (boy, Catawissa is surprisingly rural for being that close to the St. Louis area. I've seen small towns 3 times as far look feel like they're closer to St. Louis than it. Kind of interesting). Checked out the strip pits there. Looks like it has potential WHEN good size fish populate it from the Meramec overflowing, but yesterday I didn't see a single fish larger than a small bluegill in there and even that one was the exception. Anyone have any luck there before? Or at the Uehlmayer Access?

Anyways, neither place is technically on the Meramec, but they're close.

Also headed out for a little today at Unger Park, but didn't stay very long cause the weather was starting to get chilly by that time of the day.
