Members raincrow Posted November 12, 2006 Members Posted November 12, 2006 I love taney but have seen to much of it latly, going to fish the white, not sure where but if have any great places, am interested.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted November 12, 2006 Root Admin Posted November 12, 2006 Sounds like handicap at Norfork Tailwater is fishing very well. I recommend John Berry if you need a guide. Or I'm sure he'd have suggestions for ya. Davy Wooten would be another.
Terry Beeson Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Several spots on the White... Just below the dam is a favorite. So is Rim Shoals. Wildcat is usually good. The accesses around Cotter are said to be good, but I have not fished them that much. As with Taney, a lot depends on generation. So any of those according to generation will be good spots. If you want to fish Norfork, yes... the handicap access C&R area (upstream) is a good spot. I like to fish downstream from the parking lot as well, but not as productive... just "purty" down that way. I'm assuming you're looking to wade.
