Zink Dam Report And Video....

A few weeks back, a few of us got together and decided to go check on Zink Dam. We were hoping to get into some sand bass since it was a warm day but we were a little too early. We caught a few but it was pretty slow. Anyways, I took the GoPro and did a little filming. Nothing too extravagant...limited footage. If at all possible, watch the video in full HD or it will look pretty crappy. I added an HDR filter effect to the footage which looks awesome in full HD (1080p or 720p). Click the links below...

Where is Zink Dam at?

It's at 31st and Riverside. Easy access there or at the soccer fields downstream on the west side of river.

Lived here for over 15 years and have never been fishing there. Even used to ply at the fields and still never went. Is this access the same one I hear about stripers on?

I need to get some stripers on the fly this year, I guess I need to start paying attention to when the correct time of year is to go out.
