Mitch f Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 I've always been partial to a zoom finesse worm or 4" lizard. What are your favorites? How deep will you fish yours? And how far do you like to place the sinker away from the plastic bait? Do you like to use floating baits? "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
MOsmallies Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 I don't split shot often, but two baits I've had success with are... - The worm Scott and I fish often (4" finesse creature bait) - Yum Wooly Hawgtail I use finesse sliding sinkers (http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-XPS-Finesse-Weights/product/15795/) and then peg them with the rubber T-stop pegs. Usually about 12 inches up from the hook. Usually fish this rig in 1-6 foot of water. Paul MOsmallies
Jack Jones Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 I'll occasionally fish a lizard on a t-rig 1/4 bullet but I'm more likely to fish either a 4in finesse or baby craw of a shaky head. Usually use pumpkin or green pumpkin. Those have worked best for me. "Thanks to Mother Mercy, Thanks to Brother Wine, Another night is over and we're walking down the line" - David Mallett
