Justin Spencer Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Yeah, doggone Royals, I'd like to see them do well this year.Me too, I'm confident they will score this year. Hopefully they can compete, we have to wait until late in the season to go to any games, we always go to Cards games since they usually mean something, I'd love to take my kids to their first Royals game this year. stlfisher Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Nationals look tough this year. Can't wait to watch Shelby Miller pitch for the Cards.
Quillback Posted April 3, 2013 Author Posted April 3, 2013 Got the DVR set to record, Royals game this afternoon, Red Sox this evening.
stlfisher Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Card's looking good at 25-13. Shelby Miller is impressive. With the young arms they have on staff and 2-3 studs in triple A the starting pitching looks to have a lot of potential the next several years. Bullpen, while it has stabilized, could use some upgrades. Interesting that Carpenter is throwing again...could he close down the strecth. if healthy that would be awesome. Freese needs to get going too.
Quillback Posted May 15, 2013 Author Posted May 15, 2013 Cards are looking good, I'd expect them to play in the post-season this year. Time for the annual May comparison between Pujols and Beltran: Pujols .242 BA 6 HR 22 RBI Beltran .303 BA 10 HR 26 RBI
stlfisher Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 You can't feel good about paying him for 8 more years if you are the Angels. Yikes! Beltran is looking great so far, hopefully he does not wear down the second half.
