Members fishingirl 25 Posted April 9, 2013 Members Posted April 9, 2013 At least when it comes to knew topwater frogs... I found this beauty other day. It's called a Lunker Frog
mic Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 It half works... caught a fisherman (this case girl). Let us know how it catches fish.
Tim Smith Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Those are great for pulling through the open pockets in heavy slop. If you catch something you'll have to horse it back to the boat in a huge tangle of weeds but they work in that setting.

Wayne SW/MO Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Word of caution. I've fished something similar and if ever there was a topwater that needed a long pause to set the hook, these are. They're worse than a worm on top. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

dave potts Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 i got an h20 series frog from academy and it fills up with water at the end of every cast. such a pain... Sorry to hear that. I bought the same thing but haven't used them yet. I now know why they were on sale for 75% off. Have you tried sealing them in some way with epoxy? Guess that was why they were called H2O.
WakenLake Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 i would but i didnt know if it would change the way the frog is supposed to collapse in a hookset. ill mess with it for a while maybe itll catch a few til i can get a livetarget frog www.jordanvalleyautorepair.com
