JohnP Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 By the looks of all the cars parked along the road at shadowrock park last night right at dark I figured there'd be atleast one report from swan?
Bubbas Dad Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 The whites are moving in there right before dark. I saw a bunch of fish caught but I don't think anyone was limiting out. We caught 12 between two of us in about 2 hrs. I think it is only gonna get better.......
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted April 9, 2013 Root Admin Posted April 9, 2013 I've been told the walleye are stacked up in the creek but it's catch and release after dark above the bridge.
vonreed Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 I was there this evening kinda hop scotching around to spots. I caught white bass at every spot I stop from the mouth of Swan to the Wheeler Hole to the first riffle in Swan creek on the corner by the road. Phil the walleye have been stacked in there literally by the hundred for a few weeks now. Tonight was the very first night that I didn't see a single one in there after dark. I believe they have moved back out into the lake and are done spawning now for the most part.
emjay Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 Thanks for the report vonreed. Last time I was there I figured the water was a little low so I didn't try swan. Caught some at beaver and on the Forsyth side tho but not enough to brag about.
