Whites/crappie

Anyone catching whites up there? Crappie? Thinking of heading that way monday, but would rather have a friendly tip before spending gas/time in the direction. Was good fishing for me last year!

My buddy and I caught what I would guess 200 or better Thursday. When I went to work Friday, I had landed so many whites I did'nt have a fingerprint left to log into the computer with. All on white jigs 1/8 oz heads.

i live 2 hours away from there but im heading up there about 3 in the mornin till probably noon ... or until my wife calls lol. but ill give a report when i get back

i did ok. a few small hybrids and whites. all on jerkbaits and white jigs

We were there Sunday AM, but crowded and slow. I understand that Saturday was much better, naturally. Crappie fishing in the old channel would have been alright if the wind hadn't been ferocious.

Does that mean its over ? If so what now. I didn't even make one trip. It's a long drive for me. Sympathy.
