Sac River-Aldrich-Cedar Ridge 4/13-4/14

Caught 2 14 1/2 inch crappies at Aldrich all day Saturday. Minnows tight next to brush, they arent there yet but the two that were caught were monsters compared to Pomme crappies weve been catching.

Fished steel bridge and caught 11 Saturday, biggest 18 inches. Caught on white grubs on 1/8 head, most caught on a suspending rapala in ghost minnnow color.

Fished aldrich again sunday but bailed because it was rediculous packed. The fish arent there yet anyways. Not a single bite at the cedar ridge dock either. Usually would be disheartening, but it just lets me know I can wack crappie the whole time they are goin this year.

I was going to go to Aldridge on Saturday, but we were worried that the weather wasn't going to be as nice as it was.

(* SO WE WENT TO TABLE ROCK!) First time for me Crappie Fishing at Table Rock. We dropped in at Cape Fair, and fished all afternoon and didn't catch any crappie. Then at about 4;00pm we moved to the man made fish attractors in the main channels, and we caught some NICE CRAPPIE!

I caught the biggest BLACK CRAPPIE I've ever seen, it was 14", and we left with almost a limit between us. Not bad for catching them all in 2 hours.

So, we thought we would load up on them on SUNDAY. (SUNDAY?) It was so Gosh darn windy, we got "blowd" (hillbilly for blown) off the lake!

We fished all day, and only caught 6 Crappie, 2 bass, and a HUGE Bluegill.

That sounds awesome. Ive only swam in table rock, dont have the wits to fish those clearer water lakes. Id like to try it out sometime
