I will have elec, water and sewer yes. I won't use the toilet for #2 though. Less stinky that way. They are supposed to build new facilities along with the new section too. It will be shut down when it has the chance of freezing though. Same as the park does really. So it's no big deal. I can't wait to have a place to go to without having to worry about putting up and taking down the camper.

Oh I forgot .. The lot will be on a spot in Peaceful Valley Rv park. It's behind Fort Bennett. Within walking distance of all the snacks. LOL

Did you guys know that it is the year for cicadas to hatch? Time to get buzy Pat.

That was a couple years ago Mike. They were pretty thick too. You could toss anything about the size of the cicadas on top of the water ad catch a ton of fish. The hatch you are hearing about is east of MO from what understand. Seems like it happens every 13 years I think. Also they have a 17 year which I think may affect MO next year.

The seventeen year cicada is this year from what l have read.

Mike aren't you older and wiser? I believe you. Hopefully it will be this year sometime around the 3rd/4th week of August!! Wonder if the copper color will be the ticket again?

FYI on the boot. Going good and I'm more mobile. However once I'm up on it for a while I have to find some "cold water" to soak it in!! Sweet, I know the perfect forumula for that operation!!

Rich, why spend sooo much money on a poop motel and not use it? Have them hard pipe it to the septic. Put a little blue in the tank, use it and pull the handle before you leave. Close it up and put a little more water and blue in it and you will never know it's there!! I leave mine with liquid in it treated here at the house.

Don't know if I told you Rich, got my schedule. 0600-1800, everyother weekend 3 days off. Work 14 to 15 days a month. I think it will work. So does the wife, that is a needed sell.

What Pat said on the poop tank. Just always leave some water in it or you have to dig out the poop with a stick!!! Ask me how I know. I can stiil smell it..yuck

Not one of my finer moments.

It will be nice to just go down, flip on the elec. and be home. Oh wait...light the hot water...turn on the fridge.. that's about it.

I think I would crawl under the thing once you get it parked and leveled and shove steel wool in every place a mouse can get in. Mostly around pipes.

I did that and never had mice so I guess it worked.

I wish I was retired and fishing Bennett today. Only good news is I'm heading to South Carolina with some buddies to the worlds largest RC fly-in at Triple Tree Aerodrome.

Bud Light and tons of RC planes and flying. I'm looking forward to it.

Pat how did the fishing trip to lake of oz go. Bet you were glad to get out.

Jerry I figure the less of the problems I create the less I have to deal with? So no poop ,no problems in this case. I will put hard pipe on the drain though. Trying to keep out the mice may be a difficult task too from what I hear. Glue traps and dryer sheets tucked into little crevices help the experienced say. No food left in the camper is a good way to keep the critters from wanting to be in there too. I will buy an outside stove to use too,so that should help also. I gotta get some tire covers to keep the sun from deteriorating the tires at a rapid rate. A picnic table is something else I need to get? Maybe I'll just get a patio dining set. All things to worry about sitting in a motel 13 hours from home.

Mike,

On the way to LOZ we noticed south of Sedalia they had much more snow than we did south of KCOM. However it was spotty. Saturday morning was cool, humid but the crappie were biting a little. Not too many in one spot so just hobled from dock to dock fishing in the cables and down the sides. They were scattered all over from 20' to 6". No particular color of jig worked better than the other. Between the 3 of us we came close to limiting out. Mostly females, nothing huge.

Sunday, was not good. Better weather but they were scattered even more. Found one 2ndary point around docks that held a few, but mostly males. Some up to 11".

Left all the fillets down there by mistake. Will have them delivered next week after they go back this weekend.

Rich, I would bet the underside of your trailer is sealed with a fiber type material. Possibly insulated as well. Unless you tear the material you can't get to the pipes in the floor. Good for insulation but a PITA to mouse proof. So far I have used nothing but Bounce dryer sheets ALL OVER the inside of my trailer and have good luck. And I live in the woods. Also have Sam and Blue to keep the infestions down. But they have become a little rotund over the years and I doubt their effectiveness!!

FYI you will probably use the pooper eventually, just don't fight it. After we fry up a bunch of fish and wings etc, and the middle of the night hits. You will use it!!. That's what its there for, you have to treat it for the P so just number 2 in it!!. However you don't open the valve until you get ready to leave. You have to have volume to flush it out. You don't leave the valve open like a regular sewar. The stuff won't go out enough. That's what they recommend in the users manual!! Just use lots of water, wait till it gets about 3/4 and pull the handle. Close it, put more water in it with a cap of stuff and viola back in business. And don't let Mike go in there unless the super fan is running!!!!!
