Members bill Dunlap Posted April 23, 2013 Members Posted April 23, 2013 heading to one of these lakes april 25 thru 27 2013 truman, loz, pom,or stockton. its time for my annual take my 79 year old motherinlaw crappie fishing trip. can anyone offer any realtime info on any of these lakes? fish loctions shallow/deep? water temps? its like taking a very hard headed child for the first or second time. it really is a lot of fun its the only time you can pick on your motherinlaw all day and your wife still enjoys your company.any and all info would be greatly apprreciated. she sure loves watching that bobber! i havent got her covinced yet fish bite better if they dont feel the vibration of you talking on your fishing line.
MOPanfisher Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Had some good reports from both LOZ and Upper Truman. Of course that was before the cold front. Loz report was from the Browns Bend Area, crappie up shallow (males) and females out from the banks aways. That was Sunday. I believe also sunday from truman in the Upper Pomme River area crappie were being caught from the banks. By the weekend it should be improving again. Loz usually gets hot first followed by upper ends of Truman and later Pomme. Stockton I haven't heard anything from.
