Looking For Crappie Pointers

I use to fish below the dam but have since quit that, no doubt the fishing can be very good but it just isn't worth the effort. Combat fishing at it's finest or worse however you want to look at it.

It is slow fishing I went to Bucksaw yesterday with a friend between the two of us we probably cuaght 15 to 20 crappie most were 9'' with a few 10 to 11's. Very spotty and most were holding down 8 to 10 ft. away from the banks. The water when we got there in the morning was 56* and we did find some 60* water later in the afternoon. We caught one crappie up close to the bank. It just needs to wrm up some more and the way the weather guessers are talking we are in for another COLD front maybe next week.
