Lifes2Short Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Put in @ Mutton about 6:45 and fished till 4:00ish. Water temp at put in was 54 and found some water late in the afternoon that was 59. Wind was very light, cloudy until noon and then sunny skies. Fished within 3 miles of Mutton and ended up catching 9 bass(1 keeper), 6 crappie (1 keeper @ 15"), and 1 very nice walleye @ 23". Bass were caught on a mix of items, keeper was on a spinnerbait but the only bass to hit one, a few on finess/shakey head, and a few on jig. Crappie and the lone walleye were all caught on white jigs in 20 to 28 fow. If you are good enough with a jig AND have the patience you can find the bass in the middle of the flooded brush. The best is still to come...........I hope! Tight Lines, Todd
