hoglaw Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Jason: Do you have a Supreme (or similar type fiberglass river john)? A couple of times out there this year I've seen a guy (the first time was a couple of guys in a couple of boats) cruise by me in a trout boat headed, I assumed, for a set of shoals that I've been wanting to fish that you really need a boat to get to.

Wish I did- but no I am stuck with nothing but waders at the moment. I caught that one at an extremely popular bank fishing spot. It wasnt crowded though- probably because of the crappy water and it was a work day. I like the off color water up there as long as it isnt too high, they get spooky in the clear water. http://flyinthesouth.com/
Wayne SW/MO Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 You can't go by the broken lines, many of the Bull Shoals whites have broken lines. The teeth is the best for ID of the small ones. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

I really just went with size on that one- I've never seen a white that big. I know the smaller ones are really hard to tell apart. http://flyinthesouth.com/
