There was a bunch of downed trees along the edge of the river and other crud from the river being pretty fast. And I tossed it right up against the bank with that stuff and there he was.

RSBreth Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 I catch a lot of Spots in the lower reaches of the James, but the highest up I've ever caught one was the hole just down from where the Finley pours in.
