pstone Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Looking for any input on the crappie bite. I'm taking my Dad Wednesday on Table Rock and any info. would be appreciated. I am assuming timber along the bluffs near Long Creek or Cape Fair?
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted November 21, 2006 Root Admin Posted November 21, 2006 There's a thread that's a couple weeks old in which we talked about crappie on TR. Not sure if anything has changed. May be someone's been out since then. Hope you find them.
Members SDHaze Posted November 21, 2006 Members Posted November 21, 2006 Pstone Don't waste your time on Tr and go to K-Dock. You know where to go. Done pretty good the last couple of weeks there. Using minnows anywhere from 12 to 20 ft. They were scattered all over the place as of last week. Water temp was around 56-57. Probably has gone down ever since. should be even better now.
pstone Posted November 23, 2006 Author Posted November 23, 2006 Should have taken the advice about going to K-dock. We fished from 86 bridge to Cricket Creek Marina with only 1 keeper. Fished mostly timber off bluffs, also went in to Blairs Branch, fishing the trees in 30 feet of water. At least it was a nice day, but very frustrating. Any ideas about what's going on with the crappie in this area? The water temp. was 55 degrees-should be about right.
