MTM Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Heres one- Chex Mix Recipe Description A fun and easy recipe with handfuls of treats. Easy to change dry ingredients around to meet your tastes (potato sticks instead of pretzels etc.). Recipe type Snack Ethnic type Other Holiday category Christmas Preparation time 45 minutes to 1 hour Ingredients - 6 tbsp margerine - 1 1/2 tsp seasoned salt - 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce - 3/4 tsp garlic powder - 3/4 tsp onion powder - 9 cups chex cereals - 1 cup mixed nuts - 1 cup pretzel sticks - 1 cup garlic flavored bagel chips Directions 1. Pre-heat oven to 250 2. Melt margerine in oven and add seasonings. 3. Gradually mix chex, nuts, pretzels and bagel chips in and stir gently until coated. 4. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. 5. Spread on paper towels to cool. 6. Store in air tight container. One More to try lol Ron Chex Party Mix 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine 1 1/4 tsp. seasoned salt 4 1/2 tsp. worcestershire sauce 2 2/3 cups each of Corn chex, Rice chex and Wheat chex cereal 1 cup salted mixed nuts Preheat 350 degree oven. In 15x10x2 inch baking pan melt butter in oven. Remove. Stir in seasoned salt and Worcestershire. Gradually add cereal and nuts, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. Bake 20 to 25 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Spread on absorbent paper to cool. Store in air tight container
