Members Mule659 Posted May 27, 2013 Members Posted May 27, 2013 Buddy and I are going out the morning of the 28th. He's going to want to try and fine some crappie...which I don't know a whole lot about. Can anyone tell me if any are being caught down there?
Bill Babler Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Pretty much zero on the crappie. Might try flipping a jig around some of the bigger commercial docks, but really not worth your time in the dam area. Longcreek is about 5 miles from the dam and you may have a possibility on some bluff trees, but again, Table Rock in June is not the time for those tasty rascules in the dam area. Members Mule659 Posted May 27, 2013 Author Members Posted May 27, 2013 Yeah I was afraid of that. I'm content to try and catch bass all day but figured I'd have to play nice and let him do his thing a while too.
Bill Babler Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Usually Crappie guys like White's also and that is more than a possibility. Look for them chasing shad in the flat coves from the dam to Long Creek. EARLY. Good Luck http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
