Members greg jankowski Posted May 28, 2013 Members Posted May 28, 2013 Camped and fished over memorial weekend, slow trolled minnows in 12 feet of water in maze creek, used the wind to our advantage, had a few keeper crappie but allot of action as the largemouth bass were tearing it up, had a couple that went over 2 lbs. Released them to fight another day. Night fished same arm under lights and again in abouth 12, feet lots of action, about a dozen keeper crappie and every once and a while a white that would try to rip the pole out of your hand, they ran about 1 1/2 lbs. Eyes were elusive but managed a couple, talked to others at marina and fliker shad, tiger pattern crankbaits and silver grubs worked in 10 to 20 feet trolling shoreline. GOOD FISHING.
frying eyes Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 I had about the same luck. Saturday 7 crappie 1 eye, Sunday evening 4 crappie with a lot of bass in between both days.
