Osceola Catfish

I will be spending a few days trying to catch big blue cats near Osceola next week, I have fished many river systems, and I usually target the normal spots such as humps, rip rap, anything that breaks the current near a deep hole or sometimes just really shallow runs where they come up and feed at night. I was wondering if I should fish closer to where the sac comes in, or up closer to the lake like around Crowe's crossing? Any input from those that chase big cats would be appreciated. Thank you

I think from the Sac on down until you get sight of the Bridge.

Truth all of it begs to be fished.

I don't know how you could go wrong fishing from the 4 Rivers area all the way to Truman Dam and below. At one time it was either the state record or world record Blue cat was caught right where the Sac and the Osage come together. To narrow it down I think that from Osceola to the Rosco area would be a good place to start. Just my opinion and I'm not even a catfish fishing type of guy but I will help you eat them if needed.

Thank you guys for the advice. Shaker I usually release back all the blues back that are over 20 pounds. I mostly just keep flatheads, but ya they all taste great!
