I am not sure when they did this - but this is new to me :

That is chute 2... the concrete ledge front and center is new to me... I am sure they are trying to prevent erosion.

That is where the damaged bridge has been pulled up and out of upper chute 3. Won't be long and we will have our trail back. (I hope it will be before fall anyways)

Where's Darren gonna sit now? I sometimes sit right there also when the water is running and there is too many people.

Interesting, but I'm not sure I buy erosion prevention. I don't have any alternate explanation however?

If only it was 4 feet higher, it would block headlights. Some rather rude and unconcious anglers have a habit of rolling in, leaving their lights on, and walking down to gander at the creek. It spooks the fish and you can watch them leave wakes as they retreat from the area that is being illuminated.
