shockley32 Posted June 19, 2013 Author Posted June 19, 2013 Trolled 15-18'. Brush Piles 15-20'. Brad Have your visited Limitville lately?
packersooner Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Never fished for walleye on Pomme - always head to Stockton - however decided to give it a go last night. Trolled cranks, bandit 300's in shad colors, across a flat. Caught 3 walleyes (15.5", 18:5", 21") in 30 minutes and lost another. My batteries were weak and couldn't troll anymore, tried with big motor but 200 hp doesn't troll very well. Decided to hit some piles for crappie - had a blast as they are loaded up on the brush! Planning on trying the walleye a little more. What's your favorite cranks? Colors? Brad Nice report Brad! Can't go wrong with Bandit 300s or #7 Flickershads from late spring into at least early fall. I've always done well with some sort of chartreuse color. If they'll hit a certain color jig, I will usually try and match that color with a crankbait. Jason

shockley32 Posted July 3, 2013 Author Posted July 3, 2013 When ever you can!!!!! Have your visited Limitville lately?
rps Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Good report and I'm glad you scored. My tin boat has a 75 hp Etec and I troll cranks using it, but I have to go in and out of gear. Besides the very good suggestions for wiggle warts, Cabelas walleye runners, and Flickr Shads, try Bomber Fat Free Shad or Hot N Tots.
