lmt out Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Anyone catching any walleye? We are coming down in the morning, just wondering if anyone is catching any.
dennis boatman Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 I'll be out there too...I'm starting about 15' and work my way out... A strike indicator is just a bobber...
dennis boatman Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 ...caught one Walleye in 15' of water and fished all the way to 25' and didn't catch any more...Drum were biting...caught 3...bass were surfacing all afternoon and I caught 4 or 5 of them all between 12 and 15 inches...little bit of rain, but otherwise a great late afternoon on the lake... A strike indicator is just a bobber...
lmt out Posted June 19, 2013 Author Posted June 19, 2013 It was tough for us to we had 4 keeper between the 3 of us. I had four walleye and lost one at the boat but only one keeper fishing main lake points from 10 to 25'. But it was a nice day, except for the sunburn.
Members Dollar Bill Posted June 20, 2013 Members Posted June 20, 2013 We went out the last two mornings at Cedar Ridge and had a mixed bag of action. Several bass from the bank early (all short) on senkos and brush hogs. 2 bonus cats, 4 & 5 lbs, on the brushhog from 10 ft.! Bottom bounced a worm rig in 20-25 ft and missed several bites, had 4 eyes to the boat and got 2 of them in... Bunch of small spots and drum too. Trolled a crankbait in the same water and stuck 3 big crappie and a couple of small wallys. Also had several bass on a carolina rig in 20 ft with 4 keepers. This was two boats over two days but we had to work harder than it sounds. Off at two both days, it was just too dang hot at only 84! A bunch of carp were stuck too, a fun diversion when the bite gets tough. Water was 77 Tuesday and 82 today. Good fishing, bill Is this fun or what!
Members Hawgeye Posted June 29, 2013 Members Posted June 29, 2013 Heading to the lake today - hoping to hit the walleye and crappie hard. I'll scour the B5 - B7 flats (13 - 25 ft) hard for daytime walleye, then to Ruark's for evening walleye and my nighttime crappie spot.
