Nortrad Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Mr. O, the Jedi and yours truly are canoe tripping/fishing starting at Cane Bluff, newbies to this stretch. We're shooting for the 28-29 time span. What's the water like? Too shallow? Too deep to stop and wade? Are there any camping places close to Greer? How would you fish it, speed-wise? Looks like 6-7 miles. We want to go second day concentrating on trout, pull out at Turner. We've done that stretch before. Thanks for all input, look forward to the advice.
Nortrad Posted June 18, 2013 Author Posted June 18, 2013 Been doing some research, got some good info from a fellow OA member.
Nortrad Posted June 18, 2013 Author Posted June 18, 2013 Thanks to Mr. Poppen for the advice on the upper portion!
jdmidwest Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 It should be in great shape this time of year. Plenty of rain has the river flowing good. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
