I've fished them all before. Not much luck although I have caught at least one bass out of each of them. The one on the north side of 370 is really hard to fish from the bank because there is a lot of tall weeds around the edge of the lake and the bank is really steep in places to get down to the water. I did catch a nice 2lb on my first cast there though on a top water last year. The one just south of the highway is probably the easiest to fish but there's not much cover on the banks to fish on. The one by the skate park looks good, but it was really full of weeds on the bank and I couldn't really get many casts without fouling my lures.

They are probably pretty good for catfish though.

Worth trying though since they are close. I wish they allowed kayaks since that would make fishing them much easier. Make sure you have your license on you though since I got stopped by a game warden when I was there last and he asked for it.

Thanks for the input. I encountered the same lack of fish, when I tried the large lake and smaller one a few years back. Never saw one fish come out of there or even swimming. I may try again soon for some post-spawn bass. Will let you know.

I fished two of these lakes over the weekend. My brother and I each caught bass out of the first pond near the skate park using spinnerbaits and swimbaits. Didn't have much luck at the big lake by the highway, but didn't stay long enough to give it a real effort. We came to These lakes because fishing at 370 park was a disappointment, there is carp everywhere and probably very low numbers, if any bass in that lake.

I understand they were good when new, before the first river flood that over-took them, hear say though.

I fished one of them one time and did, ehh, just OK..

I have had the same experience as you all. Did the best at the skate park lake though. Lost a big one 4-5 years ago. Used to see lot's of gar too.

Yea from my experiences most lakes that are near the Missouri or mississippi have been flooded into at least once and taken over by trash fish. Same with lakes near creeks that connect with these rivers. From now on I will probably avoid them
