merc1997 Bo Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Fished last night, June 24th in the Shell Knob area. From dark until 2am, when we quit, it was pretty much non-stop action. The bass were located mosty on what i would classiy as secondary chunk rock. Nothing linked too much with the channel. Bites were anywhere from the bank out to 20 ft. deep. 16 keepers total, with the largest in the 5lb. class. The 1/2oz. NuJig seemed to be the best bait. All the keepers came on the jig. My buddy caught a few shorts on a big worm. We caught at least 2 to one shorts to keepers. That a pretty busy night. Bo
Members jay0115 Posted June 25, 2013 Members Posted June 25, 2013 What color where you catching them on? Where can you get a NuJig? Where you just casting towards the shore and working the bait back to the boat? I've never really night fished but thinking about starting. When you say Shellknob area are you talking point 19 to point 22? Any help would be appreciated.

Sportman's Corner in Cassville keeps NuJigs, or try nutechlures.com. bo
