FLY TYING CLASSES

GET YOU STARTED CLASSES (Dec 3 & DEC. 9)

Includes Your Own Fly Tying Kit

Learn the basic skills to start a lifetime of fly tying. Tie your own flies to fill your fly boxes, catch fish and have fun. Start out right with the correct techniques, selecting and handling materials, learn what you need to have and what you don’t,

Flies taught include Bryce’s TDM Midge, Wooly Buggers, Scudbugs, and dry flies _ flies to catch fish throughout the White River system.

9am-12.00 and 1-4pm. Cost $80 includes Wapsi Fly Tying kit. Kit includes vice, tools, materials, hooks, beads for a bunch of flies and a booklet on local patterns.

Cost for those who already have their own vice/materials $20.

Minimum of 2 people for the class, Maximum of 5.

DRY FLY SECRETS (Advanced Class) _ Dec 10

Winter can be a great time for fishing dry flies on Beaver. Learn the tricks to tie dry flies that work all year round. Flies taught include the Razor Midge, Parachute Adams, Griffiths Gnat, Foam Beetles, Hoppers and Ants. Tying skills needed

9am-12.00 and 1-4pm. Cost $30 Includes Razor Midge and Chernobyl Ant kits. Bring your own vice, tying tools and basic materials. Call store for details.

Minimum of 2 people for the class, Maximum of 5.

TIE AND FISH CLASSES

Learn to tie our Bryce’s TDM, Woolly Buggers, Razor Midge or other patterns then learn how to fish them. Spend the morning learning to tie the flies which work, with Steve or Bryce, then hit the water with your own patterns and let us teach you how to make them work. Bring your own vice/tools and fishing gear.
