Location Question

we're headed down the 3rd week of july. staying at shore acres resort. around the bend from kimberling city. would like to try for

smallmouth and or crappie. any advice would be appreciated.

we will be on a toon, so don't want to travel tooo far.

Shore Acres, thats my playground. First, try Point 7. Long bouy'ed point in the center of the bend towards kim. Dropshot out in 20 to 25 foot. Have a rod ready for fish busting. Next try the Norther most point of coney Island. Should be stacked with quantity fish. fish way out the point over the trees. For crappie....go somewhere else.
