Guest Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 I fished with my dad at Eucha on Saturday from 7-2pm. The topwater grass bite was dead. There seemed to be a lot of deep fish and a thermocline at 15' We struggled and caught one fish a piece. Dad caught a 18" largemouth on the biffle bug. I caught the big fish of the day, a 12lb drum off a mainlake bank on the biffle bug. I tried deep cranking, topwater, and the ned rig but zeroed on those baits. There were crappie fisherman at the ramp with big stringers full of crappie. The bridge had 6 boats tied up fishing all day. Im used to fishing that lake in the fall when its low. Wiggle warts and square bills,
Quillback Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 That's a heck of a drum. I never have fished Eucha, but I hear it can put out some fish at times.
