Hog Wally Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Put in yesterday morn at 5:15 am. Ran up to Sherman bridge. Mississippi has it backed up and void of life seemingly Did catch a walleye and a spot
Guest Brian B. Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 We used to jump off that Sherman Bridge when we were kids- until that kid got killed. There used to be a private lake down there that way- Carvantes Lake or something like that, was loaded with bass from what I heard, never made it to that lake though. You ever catch any drum. On that stretch? I have caught some nice drum (fighting like heck- though for a spell a trophy smallie only to be a big drum) at the Rt66 access. Caught some fair smallies on crankbaits too, struck me as a heavily over-fished stretch.
