mic Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 A buddy of mine asked if I want to go boat fishing on Baldwin this Friday. It will be the first trip for both of us. I know wind is a major issue there, so strip pits are our back up plan. Besides the wind, any advice from the east siders? Tight Lines, MIC
Guest Brian B. Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 If you fish Pyramid fish lakes in the Denmark, Galum, or Denmark Units- leave the original park alone, it is notnear as good as. The ones above.
mic Posted July 17, 2013 Author Posted July 17, 2013 Thanks guys, talked it over, and we are going to Peabody King.
Guest Brian B. Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 I have never been there, but I understand it gets more traffic than Pyramid, but this time of year it. Should be a ghost town.
mic Posted July 17, 2013 Author Posted July 17, 2013 My buddy and his boat are coming from Highland so PK is a little closer.
Guest Brian B. Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Keep a Senko rigged wacky on the ready for scooling bass out behind. You in open water, they will come up very quick and go back down- barely enough time for two-three casts. (I have seen pictures, looks like the place we fish, they really chase shad this time of year)
