I cant remember what year Canon redid their lenses to the current setup , was it the 80s or 90s?

The EF mount was introduced in 1987

Thanks, i thought it was about that time, i shoot nikons, but my daughter has a canon , wants to up grade to a dslr and wondered it the lenses she has would work, I think they will, from what you have said, thanks.

I shoot canon myself what is she wanting to upgrade to and what is her current camera?

She has one of the film rebels, and wants to go to dslr, probably a rebel I think.

Yeah she should be in good shape. I'm thinking of upgrading to full frame if she would be interested in going to a t3i shoot me a pm and we can hash it out.
