Wayne SW/MO Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 could be wrong but i don't think crane creek is a navigable waterway. I believe any creek that flows year around is considered navigable. The thing is it's probably not worth stirring up trouble with the landowners by fighting wire on small creeks. Once word spreads so will the confrontation. It's best to fight the important battles, like access on the bigger creeks and rivers. Much of this goes back to the original surveys and while the bigger waters were used as boundaries, the smaller ones weren't and there will always be a different attitude when someone owns bank to bank. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
