could be wrong but i don't think crane creek is a navigable waterway.

I believe any creek that flows year around is considered navigable. The thing is it's probably not worth stirring up trouble with the landowners by fighting wire on small creeks. Once word spreads so will the confrontation. It's best to fight the important battles, like access on the bigger creeks and rivers.

Much of this goes back to the original surveys and while the bigger waters were used as boundaries, the smaller ones weren't and there will always be a different attitude when someone owns bank to bank.

Go north past AA bridge, on ur left is a road which goes to creek. I just get out at wire, float boat under it, get back n & float to the James? Good smalle fishing at convergence
