Brian Sloss Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 With all this high water, there is a silver lining for smallmouth anglers. The upper river should become floatable for a while after the waters recede more. Hopefully we can get the forest service to clear a route and then I would bet there might be some good smallie fishing on the upper river. www.elevenpointflyfishing.com www.elevenpointcottages.com (417)270-2497

jdmidwest Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 Hmm. A fall float from Thomasville would be unheard of most years. It may just be feasible this year. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
