Wanted to go fishing today, but only had a short amount of time so I thought I'd check out the Little Sac close to my house. I started out fishing a small rooster tail and was catching a few very small bass and bluegill. Then I found a hole behind a stump and tried a small white jig. To my surprise I pulled out a 10" crappie. After that I was catching them almost every cast. Ended up catching 6 crappie between like 8 and 11 inches, a small white bass, and numerous small bass and bluegill. I was surprised to catch crappie that far up the little sac, especially of that size near that shallow of water. I probably pulled 20 fish from just that one small hole. All were released unharmed.

I'm against releasing 9 inch + Crappie unharmed. :have-a-nice-day:

Nice report!

I wish I had more time more than I wish I had more money.

This may be an outdated comment by a new member but i love the little sac out near Eudora and it is definitely a distinct possibilty to take a nice walleye or ten in the early spring. Also, i caught a hundred plus swollen white bass there. One of which weighed in at three and a half pounds.
