Blue Gills

Where are some blue gill hot spots? I don't know this lake and my wife wants to catch some gills. Will they be very deep with the water temps what they are? Thanks

I would be looking between Shadow Rock and Powersite.

On Taneycomo, I'd go back in the coves and fish under the overhanging trees and close to downed trees. Docks if you can find them. Very lower lake, bluff banks.

Poppers are the best I've heard.
