Springfield Lake

Headed to Springfield lake early Sunday morning. Wanting to throw some top water around early and then maybe try some flukes that have been working real well in some other areas. Not sure whether to head to the main lake or go up towards the river. Anyone been out there lately? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

You ever notice them people fishing where the drain comes from under the road across from the power plant? I never seen or heard of anyone catching fish there or anywhere along that little road. Anyone else?

If you get out in middle week when there's not a lot weekend pressure I do alright by the outlet from the plant. Both of these bass are from throwing jigs back in the cement wall area

Walk the bank along the road side of water discharge to catch bass along the weed beds. For cats.....throw shrimp or shad in discharge pool. They usually run small but fun if you have kids fishin' with you.
