LostMyWife Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 YO AK Welcome to the forum. I have found that there is no such thing as asking to many questions, as long as you don't mind all of the answers. You will love this site. Why are you moving from such a beautiful place? I would love to live in Alaska. Anyway, enjoy the site. Yes, I'm That Guy

gonefishin Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 I dont know how I would like to live in Alaska but I would sure love to go fishing, sight seeing, fishing, hunting, fishing, exploring and fishing there. I would rather be fishin'. "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." Benjamin Franklin, 1759

Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted December 3, 2006 Root Admin Posted December 3, 2006 Welcome. I, too, fell in love with your state- so much so I'm investing in a camp on the Naknek River and taking people up to fish this summer. I've fished the Kenai and the King Salmon area but hope to explore more as time goes on. But there's plenty of great water here in southern MO and northern AR you will find.
Danoinark Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 AkFlyfisher When you get to Little Rock, you will be closest to the Little Red River. Are you partial to fly fishing or spin fishing? Fly fishing, we can "hook" you up with some folks in the Little Rock area. Welcome to the forum. Members AKflyfisher Posted December 3, 2006 Author Members Posted December 3, 2006 Thanks everyone for making me feel welcome. I fly fish almost all the time, and am looking forward to spend some time out on the Little Red chasing browns, cuts, rainbows and brookies.
