I came up with this and it is good if I say so myself. And easy.

1 chicken, Salt, Pepper, Accent, 2 strips of Bacon, Butter and Soy Sauce. That is it

Salt and Pepper and accent your chicken being careful not to salt it to much. Just go real light with the salt. Place the chicken in a roasting pan. Lay the 2 strips of Bacon on the breast of the bird and put the chicken in a 350 degree oven. 2 large spoons of butter melted in the Microwave and add to a half cup of Soy Sauce. Cook chicken for about an hour then baste with the Butter and Soy Sauce. Do this several times making sure to use all the Basting sauce. If you run out just use the juice from the cooking bird and it works fine to. It takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes for the average bird. Just make sure the juice runs clear and the bird will be done.

Take the bird out and place it on a cutting board. Let it set for 15 minutes before cutting. Now strain off the oil from the juice in the pan. Or most of it. Place the left over drippings over the fire and add a large cup of water to the drippings. Bring to a boil and add Corn Starch about 1 and a half spoons full to half cup of water. When the drippings come to a boil add this and it will thicken the gravy. I do not think you will need any salt so don't add any until you taste it. That is all there is to it. I think you will like this a lot I know my family sure does. I like Cornbread and Green's with it. Now I am making myself hungry. :) Good Eating. Ron

PS- Make sure to eat the Bacon. YUM!
