I found a site that is offering buy one get one free sunglasses and went ahead and ordered 2 pair since I needed a pair for my wife's car and one to fish with. I have a nice pair of Maui Jim's that I found on the side of the road when I was fishing in North Carolina, but I don't like wearing them for fishing for some reason. The glasses I bought are made by a company called FishGillz (http://www.fishgillz.com) and they are super light (1oz I think) and while I haven't fished with them yet, they are really comfortable to drive around in and really help see things better in sunny conditions without distortion. The only thing I'm leery on is how much abuse the lenses will hold up to as they are on the thin side. One bonus feature about these glasses is they float if they are dropped in the water. No more needing a lanyard on my glasses if I'm fishing.

I got the two pair for $54.95 with free shipping using the coupon code fish5000 . Not a bad deal for nice sunglasses. They also each came with a case and cleaning cloth to go with them.

(disclaimer: I am not affiliated with this company at all, just passing along the deal)

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
