I have been learning to Striper fish the last 4 years and am slowly mastering it. we also opened a welcome center in Garfield as above. please feel free to stop by or call anytime. 479-244-0345. i try to keep up with the guides in the area on the lake and in the White River below the dam and on The Kings River by Berryville for fishing reports weekly. so if your coming to the area feel free to call for info. hours usually 10-5 unless the fish are biting really well. lol also taking a fly fishing class at Hobbs Conservation Center Sept 22. I know the lady teaching it and she is awesome. You will be glad you spent the $35.00 and made some new fly fishing friends. anyway enough about me. Oh yes by the way they are predicting Beaver Lake is going to becoem the top Walleye Lake in Arkansas in very short order as the fish are takng to the lake very well and creel weights are rising every month!!!!!! later Fishskipper!
Members fishskipper Posted September 20, 2013 Author Members Posted September 20, 2013 FISHING REPORT i will try to post a fishing report here weekly. As of the last report i have the Stripers are still scattered and deep about 60 feet. Right now night fishing with slow trolling 1-2 mph with deep diving lures, shad, bluegill with 8-12 foot leaders are a must at 40-60 feet. downriggers or heavy egg sinkers 1-2 ounces 8-12 feet above baits ahead of swivel. jigging with spoons or large jigs along the same points are working well. 9 pm to 2-3 am with the full moon this week has been the best time. as usual points 3-4-5 on the main lake (Beaver Lake) are your best bet. no substantiated river reports in this week. flourocarbon leaders 15-20 pound test is what most of us use here! good fishing! Fishskipper.

Quillback Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Welcome Fishskipper! Just as an FYI, there is a Beaver lake sub-forum on this site, that's where you would want to post your Beaver lake striper reports (just scroll down a bit on the main page). Your reports should be very popular, there's always guys asking in the Beaver forum if anyone knows where the stripers are. Here's a link: http://forums.ozarkanglers.com/forum/56-beaver-lake/
