jeb Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Thanks for the report. I went out yesterday morning from about 7am-10am, just in the PC area. Got into pretty decent bite in 20fow way back in a cove. Dragging stuff on the bottom, rigs and jigs, with plastic minnow baits got most of them. No big bass, but several legals, and a 21" Wally. Once I started catching fish, I had two other boats horn right in on my spot, though. Both about a half cast away. I could not believe it. They had been in the cove, but much further away. One a trolling boat, the other a pontoon. That killed the action, so I just left. Now I remember why I hate fishing on the weekends. John B 08 Skeeter SL210, 225F Yamaha
J-Doc Posted November 11, 2013 Author Posted November 11, 2013 Figures..........someone finds them. LOL I guess I was looking in the wrong places. I admit, I was covering a lot of water from the boat and not casting all that much until I would settle on an area. I just didn't find bait or fish and therefor I would leave the spot quickly and try other areas. Wish I could fish during the week more. Need marine repair? J-Doc Posted November 11, 2013 Author Posted November 11, 2013 By chance was the trolling boat a deep V Ranger with a 4-stroke Yamaha? I've been seeing that boat trolling a lot lately. Seems like a nice enough fella. Both of us were trolling the same area a few weeks back. He was trolling awfully fast and would catch up to me quickly and eventually pass me. Need marine repair? jeb Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 No, it was a Boston Whaler type boat. John B 08 Skeeter SL210, 225F Yamaha
